Letter Sent to Jesus, Son of Joseph from Jordan River Management Consultants

Here's a letter recently discovered in the Middle East. It's addressed Woodcrafter@Nazareth.carpentershop.com and sent to Jesus, Son of Joseph.

Dear Sir: Thank you for submitting the resumes of the twelve men you have picked for management positions in your new organization. All of them have been interviewed by our HR consultants and have taken a battery of tests. The profiles of each individual re enclosed. Please study them carefully.

It is the opinion of our staff that most of your nominees are lacking in background education and vocational aptitude. We recommend that you continue your search for other persons of greater talent.

Simon Peter is emotionally unstable, defensive and given to fits of temper and possessiveness. Andrew has absolutely no qualities of leadership. The two brothers, James and John, place personal interest above teamwork and also display a quick temper. Thomas demonstrates an innate skepticism which would undermine morale. Matthew has been blacklisted by the Jerusalem Better business Bureau. James and Thaddeus are on the far left politically and both register high on the manic-depressive scale.

One candidate, however, shows great potential. He is a man of broad ability and resourcefulness. He meets people well, has a keen business-mind and is good with numbers, and he has contacts in high places. He is highly motivated, ambitious and responsible. We recommend Judas Iscariot as your financial manager and second-in-command.

Thank you for choosing our company for your personnel assessment needs.
